Oxygen Plant

Oxygen Plant

We make and offer high-quality oxygen generators to meet the needs of our customers. Our oxygen generators are distinguished for their ease of operation, handling, low maintenance costs, and durability. They are designed in accordance with strict industry requirements. These generators, which are based on microprocessor technology, have a wide range of applications in sectors such as drinking water treatment, medicinal treatment, environmental air treatment, and many others. We know how to design and build high-efficiency oxygen plants. These oxygen plants are both safe and cost-effective, requiring only a small amount of energy to run. Customers’ demands and application needs can be accommodated in the design of these oxygen plants. The techniques and technology are appropriate for small to medium-sized production supply, and they may be applied to a wide range of sectors. When compared to other manufacturers, the design of oxygen generators gives a lower power usage. Data gathering with multiple outputs, communication links for remote control options, and diagnostic analysis are all part of the fully trustworthy control system. High-cycle process valves are top performers in terms of dependability and minimum maintenance, and they’re exceptionally tough in harsh situations.

PROCESS DESCRIPTION

This gas generator has an air compressor system with refrigerated type dryer, which supplies the compressed air at 4.0 to 7.0 kg/cm2g to a twin tower PSA system having composite bed filled with Activated Alumina and special grade of molecular sieves. Activated alumina adsorbs moisture present in the air while molecular sieves adsorb CO2 and nitrogen. Thus, oxygen gas with a purity of around 91-93% is available at the outlet. After a preset cycle time, the towers are switched over through a sequence controller and a set of change over valves. With this, second tower comes into operation and first tower undergoes simultaneous regeneration. The regeneration is accomplished by purging some oxygen gas in reverse direction at atmospheric pressure. This cycle of towers changeover is repeated infinitely and oxygen gas is continuously available at the outlet.

The pressure in the Adsorbers varies with time and the gas available at the PSA outlet is taken to a surge vessel to take care of the pressure variations. The gas can be vented out initially through a 3-way valve and after the gas produced becomes of desired quality, it can be fed to the system for end use.

The Process keeps on repeating and the air inflow is continuously switched between the two adsorbers by the help of an automated PLC controller and change over valves.

Features:

  • All systems are built to run unattended and adjust the oxygen requirement automatically.
  • The compact size of the plant is due to the design and instrumentation, as well as the assembly on skids, which are prefabricated and delivered from the factory.
  • To achieve the desired Oxygen purity, the start-up time is only 5 minutes. When a result, these units can be turned on and off as the demand for oxygen varies.
